This course indicates which products are deemed hazardous and how they are categorized according to similar characteristics and risk. It introduces the nine hazard classifications and outlines the materials in each class and division. It also explains how product risk is measured and communicated based on the degree of danger present, and discusses how the Hazardous Material Table is used to determine the appropriate means of identification, transportation, and packaging for a product. The course is targeted toward commercial truck drivers but first responders may find it useful as well.
